The Cemetery Records of Sullivan County, Tennessee is a cataloging of the cemeteries in Sullivan County, Tennessee. The information from the stones and other grave markers was painstakingly copied by Suzanne Burow over the course of several years. In all, the two-volume set contains about 72,000 names from over 400 cemeteries.

Suzanne Burow visited and cataloged every existing cemetery in the book. This book is not just a simple compilation of other resources that are available. The book represents the unique effort of the authors to investigate, locate, catalog, and document the cemeteries of Sullivan County.
The book is a hard-bound, two-volume set produced and printed in Sullivan County. In addition to the catalog of each cemetery, the book contains an alphabetical list of the cemetery names, a complete surname index, expertly drawn maps, and GPS coordinates of existing cemeteries.
Already several cemeteries have been destroyed or otherwise degraded to the point where the stones are no longer legible. This book may be the only testament to the lives of those buried in these lost cemeteries.
